MISSION STATEMENT

Following the example of Saint Anthony,
Doctor of the Church, Migrant and Model of Charity,
we, the community of Saint Anthony's Church,
commit ourselves to:

Deepen our knowledge of the Catholic Faith
by promoting catechetical and biblical programs for
children, youth and adults.
Special attention to be given to sacramental preparation.

Make the migrants and the newcomers welcomed
by providing the possibilities of expressing
the religious, cultural and social traditions
of each ethnic group.

Share our goods and our talents through works of charity
encouraging personal and collective charitable activities
at local and international levels.
Becoming aware and involved in social issues and initiatives.

Prayer to St. Anthony

St. Anthony, glorious for the fame of your miracles, obtain for us from God's mercy the favours that we desire: (Pause - Make your request). Since you were so gracious to poor sinners, do not regard our lack of virtue, but consider the glory of God, which will be exalted once more through you by the granting of our petitions. Glorious wonderworker, Saint Anthony, father of the poor and comforter of the afflicted, we ask for your help.            Amen.
